Manoj Jarange's march to Mumbai over Maratha quota begins

Maratha leader Manoj Jarange Patil has claimed that by the time the march traverses through Marathwada to reach Mumbai it would have crores of Maratha community members joining the protest.

Mumbai: Maratha leader Manoj Jarange Patil on Saturday began his march to Mumbai with hundreds of Marathas. Patil began his 'padyatra' from Antarvali sarati in Jalna to Mumbai, where he plans to undertake an indefinite fast seeking inclusion of all members of the community into the OBC fold.

Jarange has claimed that by the time the march traverses through Marathwada to reach Mumbai it would have crores of Maratha community members joining the protest.

"The Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should take this issue seriously and make an appropriate decision... I am ready to pay with my life but once I go to Mumbai I will come back with reservation for the community.."said Jarange Patil as he marched with his followers.
