NEW DELHI: The Manohar Lal Khattar government wants to have its own tribunal to adjudicate service related matters. The government is in the process of setting up a State Administrative Tribunal ( SAT) which will adjudicate disputes with respect to recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed to public services and posts in connection with the affairs of the government or other local authorities under the control of Haryana.

At present, an aggrieved person has to move the Punjab and Haryana HC challenging a State order relating service matters. The remedy available to him/her is to file a writ in the HC which, normally, takes a long time for final adjudication.
