Manohar Khattar submits report to Amit Shah

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar met BJP chief Amit Shah in the national capital on Wednesday to discuss and submit a report on the recent developments over the arrest of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and the killing of 36 people in police firing in the wake of protests by his supporters.

Khattar and Shah had a 30-minute meeting in which the former submitted the report on how the situation was brought under control.

The BJP leadership has backed him on the incident and leaders maintain he will not beremoved. BJP leadership is also unhappy at the observations of High Court over the Khattar government’s reported failure to control the situation.
