Manmohan Singh's performance not up to mark: Sikh hardliners
A day after Manmohan Singh said his govt had done quite a lot for 1984 riot victims, Khalsa today alleged he had failed to live up their expectations.

"Manmohan Singh has managed to occupy the nation's highest executive post but he has utterly failed to resolve the identity crisis facing the Sikhs," Dal Khalsa Political Affairs Secretary Kanwar Pal Singh said.
"The perpetrators of November 1984 carnage are still at large... His performance as Prime Minister is not up to the mark," he told reporters here.
"As Manmohan Singh completes his two terms in office, it is ironic that long-standing disputes in some states like Nagaland and Kashmir are hanging fire with no sincere efforts being made to resolve these problems politically," the Sikh hardliner said.
Yesterday, Manmohan Singh had told a press conference in Delhi: "I think our government has done quite a lot (for Sikh victims).
"We have provided succour to the suffering families of 1984 riots," he had said.
On BJP's prime ministerial candidate, the Dal Khalsa leader said he agreed with Manmohan Singh's view that it would be disastrous to have Narendra Modi as PM.
