Manmohan Singh condoles Rajesh Khanna's death

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today condoled the death of yesteryear Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna.

"I convey my heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and countless fans and admirers of Shri Rajesh Khanna," he said in his condolence message.

Khanna, who was ailing for sometime, died at his Bandra residence earlier in the day at the age of 69.

The actor, who had been in and out of hospital since April, was discharged from the Lilavati hospital two days back.
