Manmohan most incompetent PM: Advani

GUWAHATI: BJP leader L K Advani on Sunday made a scathing attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accusing him of being the "most incompetent" Prime Minister and "devaluing" his office and said no decision is taken without the consent of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.

"Manmohan Singh, when not a politician, was held in high esteem. But today compared with the past 14 prime ministers of our country, he is the most incompetent one as prime minister of India", alleged Advani addressing a Vijay Sangkalpa Samavesh here.

"No decision is taken without the consent from 10 Janpath (residence of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in Delhi). Manmohan Singh has devalued the office of the prime minister", he charged.

"Today after four and half years of UPA rule, only the rich are getting richer while the common man is troubled by price rise and insurgency. UPA has betrayed the people", Advani alleged.

"Farmers are affected and many of them committed suicide unable to return their loans. Besides, there is no pure drinking water, electricity and water for farming in the villages. Freedom came in 1947 but Congress could not give the people good governance", the BJP leader said.
