Manipur MLAs to make oath or affirmation to S Rajen Singh till election of Speaker

The governor of Manipur has appointed S Rajen Singh as the person before whom Members of the Manipur Legislative Assembly shall make and subscribe an oath or affirmation until a Speaker of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly is elected.

The governor in a order stated, "In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 188 of the Constitution of India, I, La. Ganesan, Governor of Manipur, hereby appoint Shri S. Rajen Singh as the person before whom Members of the Manipur Legislative Assembly shall make and subscribe an oath or affirmation until a Speaker of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly is elected."

S. Rajen Singh is an mla elect from Lamshang Assembly Constituency.
