"The Supreme Court will hear a case related to the supernumerary posts in connection with the SSC case on April 8. The court has said the supernumerary posts were created to save the ineligible candidates, " Majumdar said. "We, the people of Bengal, have selected an ineligible candidate as our chief minister. So, she must resign as she has no right to rule. You are blaming the apex court and CBI. You have to abide by the Indian Constitution and judiciary," he further said.
"Despite the fact that the government having the list of eligible and ineligible candidates, you did not give the list. Instead, the supernumerary posts were approved in the cabinet. It is sheer corruption. In tomorrow's hearing, I hope that your cabinet and you will go to jail and whoever created these posts. Your apprehensions will come true. You are the second chief minister in the country, who will go to jail. It will be a record for selling teachers' jobs," he said.
