Mamata Banerjee to visit Ashok Ghosh at Forward Bloc office

KOLKATA: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee will visit the Forward Bloc office on Thursday to see the ailing state secretary of the party, Ashok Ghosh. Forward Bloc is a constituent of the opposition Left Front in West Bengal.

Ghosh, 94, has been running the party in Bengal since 1946 as its secretary without any interruption. He is the oldest leader in the opposition Left Front in the state.

The chief minister herself told reporters at Nabanna about her plans to visit the Bloc office on Thursday .
