Mamata Banerjee to lead protest in Delhi
Mamata Banerjee, dwelling on the "economic deprivation" of the state said she would personally lead a demonstration to Delhi to protest it.

"Our MPs, MLAs and one crore people from West Bengal, besides party supporters from Assam, Jharkhand, Tripura, Bihar and also from Rajasthan and other states will assemble in Delhi and join the protest. We will show the Centre what we can do," Banerjee said at the general council meeting of her party here.
"When it comes to take up the just causes of the people, I do not care of the protocol. I myself will go Delhi and demonstrate," she said.
"Is it that state will be deprived if your political line is not followed? We will not bow to any pressure. West Bengal will show the way to others," she said slamming the Congress-led government at the Centre.
Stating that her government was demeaning a moratorium and debt restructuring for long to pay the interest burden on loans taken by the state, she said "We will not beg. It is our just demand."
"It is clear that the Central government is acting on a political line... We strongly protest this discriminatory attitude," she said.
