Mamata Banerjee resorts to literary skills, writes three poems protesting against NRC

The Trinamool Congress Supremo has made a record by penning 79 books in last six years.
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has taken up a unique way to lodge protest against the NRC process in Assam. Banerjee has written three poems, two in Bengali, one in English, narrating the pain and trauma of the people who were left out of NRC.

In one of these three poems, that is titled as 'Untouchable', Banerjee has also subtly mentioned the series of cancellation of programmes which she was scheduled to attend in last three months.

The Trinamool Congress Supremo has made a record by penning 79 books in last six years. The number includes nine books that she released in 42nd Kolkata International Book Fair in January. Banerjee, who has earlier released books in Bengali, English and Urdu, has got two of her works translated in Alchiki and Hindi this year. Of nine books, two are translated while she has written one in Urdu, one in English and five in Bengali. The chief minister has scripted her struggle and it has been named as–My Journey.
