KOLKATA: Continuous attacks on CPM rallies in Bengal prove how "intolerant "TMC government is, said Left Front chairman Biman Bose. The CPM rallies in districts were allegedly attacked by TMC men leaving at least a dozen veteran CPM leaders bleeding.

Addressing the media, Bose said, " Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee speaks against Intolerance. But the state is witnessing maximum intolerance. She is the symbol of intolerance. The peaceful rallies are attacked with rods and sticks in front of police. Police have turned silent spectator. There is complete lawlessness here."

Bose further adds, " Democracy has been buried in Bengal. And we are standing on the burial ground here. They are making our veteran leaders, former MP s and MLA s hold their ears and say sorry to them . This is an instance of ultimate humiliation. This is uncalled for . They are feeling insecure and that is why they are attacking us in this way."
