Mamata Banerjee greets people on Deepavali

KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today conveyed her heartiest greetings to the people on the occasion of Deepavali.

"I convey my heartiest greetings to the people of West Bengal on the occasion of Deepavali," she said in a Facebook post.

"May this Festival of Lights bring in joy and work as a source of happiness," she said.

Governor K N Tripathi had earlier conveyed his best wishes to the people on the occasion.

"I convey my heartiest greetings to the people of the state. May this festive occasion illuminate our minds and bring joy and happiness to them," he said in his message.
