Mamata Banerjee congratulates Team India for winning Cricket World Cup match

KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today congratulated the Indian cricket team for their victory over Pakistan in the World Cup match at the Adelaide Oval.

"Heartiest Congratulations to Team India. It's a magnificent victory in the first match against Pakistan in the World Cup. All the Best to Team India for the upcoming matches," Banerjee wrote in her Facebook post.

Defending champions India launched their campaign in grand style as they produced a clinical performance to spank Pakistan by 76 runs, maintaining their unbeaten record against the arch-rival in the mega event.
