Mamata Banerjee calls JD(S) chief Deve Gowda, advises him to take Congress support
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee reach out the JD(S) supremo hours after the trends changed for BJP, that fell short of majority.

In hours of a the election trend showing Congress losing numbers in Karanataka, Banerjee tweeted that the results would have been "very different" had Congress gone into a pre-poll alliance with JD (S).
Of late, Mamata Banerjee shares cordial terms with the veteran leader of JD (S) and she pledged moral support for his party before the assembly election. Recently, in a programme, Didi maintained that JD (S) would be the 'key factor " in Karnataka election and Kumaraswami would be the chief minister . Banerjee also said that Congress will not get majority in any election and the party has to bank on regional parties to be in government in states .
The chief minister of Bengal has emerged as a national leader as her advised also worked in case of the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh. She suggested Akhilesh Yadav to join hands with Mayawati and fight elections jointly, which later yield results.
Following the Karanatak elections, the political heat will increase will increase in Bengal as BJP is likely to emerge as the second largest party in the state.
