Mamata Banerjee alleges rivals' plot to eliminate her
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee said on Wednesday that the CPM had joined hands with Maoists to kill her.

She also said that she had specific intelligence reports which suggested that "a murder plot" was hatched during her visit to Kamduni village in Barasat on Monday.
The chief minister also complained against two television channels which had provoked the Kamduni villagers to shout slogans against her adding that "It was the CPI (M) which had used the two channels to gain political mileage over the Kamduni girl's death". She also alleged that "CPI (M), Maoists, Congress party and BJP have all joined hands to conspire against my government."
"But I can assure you that these forces would not be able to do any harm to me so long as the people of Bengal are with me. So long as Ma, Mati and Manush (Mother, land and people) are with me, nobody can touch my hair," the chief minister said at the rally.
