Mamata Banerjee accuses BJP of harassing workers; assures win, asks not to fear
Greetings to everyone. I urge the counting agents and candidates not to leave their assigned areas. Please do not leave the strong rooms where the vote counting is underway. This, I believe, was part of the BJP’s plan. I have been saying since yesterday that they will show their leads in the first two to three rounds, and our results will be reflected later. In several areas, after two to three rounds, vote counting at nearly 100 locations was stopped, and seven EVMs were reportedly found red-handed in Kalyani that were not identical. This appears to be a deliberate effort by the Central Government using central forces. They are allegedly attacking TMC workers everywhere, breaking offices, and forcibly taking control. They have been accused of manipulating votes in the name of SIR to win seats. However, there are at least 70 to 100 seats where we are leading, but those results are not being shown. This is completely false information being circulated. Earlier, such reports were being shared by DIC, but that changed yesterday. The Election Commission is acting according to its own decisions, with the support of central forces. Even our police are allegedly working under pressure, with their heads down. That is why I am telling counting agents and party workers not to lose heart. I have said before that we will win by sunset. Only three to four rounds have been completed so far, and the process goes up to 16 to 18 rounds. Wait and watch. We are with you—do not be afraid.
