NEW DELHI: Amid controversy over SC reference to a CAG report on the Rafale deal, PAC chairman Mallikarjun Kharge has called a meeting of the parliamentary panel on Thursday to finalise and pass some pending reports.

The agenda for the meeting is discussion on some pending reports and adopting those cleared by the panel.

Though the opposition parties have been raising the Rafale issue in both Houses and forcing adjournments, it is not clear if the matter will come up during the meeting.

Some opposition members may raise the matter, but the BJP has a majority in the panel. Also, opposition parties are divided on the Congress demand for a JPC probe on the Rafale deal.

TMC sources said the party will not press for a JPC probe.
