Malegaon case shows BJP govt believes terrorism has a religion: Digvijaya Singh
NEW DELHI: Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has said BJP government’s handling of terror cases proves terrorism has religion. “Is there a good terrorist or a bad terrorist? But the way BJP has handled investigation, it shows they (BJP government) think terrorism has a religion,” Singh said.

Reacting to news reports on NIA seeking more time to file chargesheet in Malegaon blast case, Digvijaya said, “BJP seems to think that Hindu terrorism is good terrorism. But Muslim terrorism is bad.”

Demanding a clarification from the government over investigation in Malegaon case, Singh said the special prosecutor had already said she has been asked to go slow. “When such statements are coming out and there are doubts that Colonel Purohit will walk free, shouldn’t the government come out with a clarification? ,” he said.
