Malegaon blasts: Three remanded to police custody till Nov 6

3 person have been arrested in connection with Malegaon blast.

NASHIK: Three persons including a sadhvi who have been arrested in connection with the Malegaon blast have been remanded to police custody till November 6, by a local court here today.

Sadhvi Pradnya Singh Thakur was picked up from Surat by the Anti Terrorist Squad of the Mumbai police. While Shamlal Shahu and Dilip Nagar were brought from Indore in Madhya Pradesh for questioning in Mumbai.

Director General of Police (Maharashtra) A N Roy today said that three persons had been arrested for their involvement in the Malegaon blast in Nashik district.

At least five persons were killed in the blast at Malegaon and one person killed in the blast at Modasa in Gujarat on September 29. In both cases bombs were kept on motorcycles.
