Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim meets Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi over breakfast in Delhi

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Sunday met Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for a breakfast meeting in the national capital.

The meeting comes as Anwar is in New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit, being hosted by India on September 12 and 13. Malaysia is among the partner countries of the expanded BRICS grouping.

Rahul Gandhi, who represents Rae Bareli in the Lok Sabha, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the MP from Wayanad, met the Malaysian leader as part of his engagements in the capital.

Anwar has previously met Rahul Gandhi during his visits to India. The Malaysian prime minister had also held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his current visit.
