Major bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttarakhand

DEHRADUN: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttarakhand, the departments of nine IAS officials have been changed.

Secretary, Chief Minister, Information, Minority Welfare, Corruption Eradication, Public Services and Excise Mohammad Shahid has been given the additional charge of public complaints department, an official release quoting the Joint Secretary (personnel) Atar Singh said last night.

Additional Secretary tourism, energy, pilgrimage management and games Shailesh Bagoli has been discharged of his present responsibilities and has been made in charge of general administration, culture, youth welfare, rural engineering service and director games and youth welfare.

Haridwar District Magistrate Senthil Pandyan has been transferred and made secretary in charge of primary education, Director General secondary education, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and National Secoandary education mission.

Additonal Secretary Urban Development, DG School Education, state Project Director Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Director ADB project and State project Director Secondary education Radhika Jha has been appointed as secretary in charge of externally aided projects, Centre-sponsored projects and resident commissioner, New Delhi, the release said.

Additional Secretary revenue, science and technology, chakbandi in hill villages Vijay Kumar Dhaundiyal has been discharged of his present responsibilities and appointed secretary in charge of cooperative, secretary revenue council and coordinator chakbandi.

Additional Secretary Milk and Dairy Development, Animal Husbandry, Fodder and Pasture Development Damyanti Dauhrey has been appointed Secretary in-charge.

Additional Secretary V Shanmugam has been appointed Additional Secretary Urban Development, director civic bodies and project director ADB projects.

Director Alternative Energy Development and Additional Commissioner (Taxes) Ashish Joshi has been given additional charge of secretary tourism, pilgrimage management, religious fair and that of additional chief executive tourism development council.

Additional Secretary (Agriculture), Director Administration and Technology and State Project Management Group Savin Bansal has been given the additional charge of additional secretary minor irrigation, rainwater conservation and director planning.
