Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary: Puducherry CM N.Rangasamy pays tribute

PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry Chief Minister N.Rangasamy today led the Union Territory in paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his 64th death anniversary.

Rangasamy garlanded a statue of the Father of the Nation on beach road.

A two minute silence was observed from 11 a.m. at the statue by the Chief Minister.

Earlier former Chief Minister and Leader of the opposition in the territorial Assembly V.Vaithilingam and PCC president A V Subramanian, were among those who paid homage.
