Six more die in Maharashtra; total Covid-19 positive cases in state now 490
Six Covid-19 patients died in Maharashtra, while sixty seven more persons tested corona positive taking the total number of cases in the state to 490.

The 67 new patients included 43 are from Mumbai, 10 from MMR, nine from Pune and three from Ahmednagar district, the state health ministry said
The total death toll in the state went up to 26 with six more people - of which four did not seem to have any foreign contacts, according to health ministry officials - succumbing to the disease
The six dead included two from Mumbai and one each from Vasai-Virar, Badlapur in Thane, Jalgaon and Pune, a health ministry statement said. Of the 26 dead, 18 are from Mumbai, two from Pune, four from MMR excluding Mumbai and one each from Buldhana and Jalgaon districts.
A 68-year-old man, who was also diabetic, died in Vasai-Virar. His nephew, who returned from the US in the first week of February did not have any symptoms. Some of the other victims too reported comorbidities of diabetes and high blood pressure.
Overall Mumbai has seen 278 cases and 19 deaths, while Pune has 70 cases and two deaths.. At present 595 persons have been admitted to various hospitals, while 50 coronavirus positive patients have recovered and discharged.
The Maharashtra government has identified 738 members of the Tablighi Jamaat out of a list of 1225 members from the state who had attended the Tablighi meeting at Delhi’s Nizamuddin. 7 out of these members have been infected, the statement said.
