Maharashtra govt says to regularise Illegal construction in Alibag, Murud coasts
State environment minister Ramdas Kadam told the legislative assembly that there are 145 illegal constructions in Alibag and 141 in Murud.

Environment Minister Ramdas Kadam while replying to discussion on the issue during the question hour, initiated by Kalidas Kolambkar (Congress), said unauthorised constructions by adivasis and fishing community will be regularised while action will be taken against the illegal bungalows that violate provisions of CRZ Act, 2011.
The minister said there are 145 illegal constructions in Alibag and 141 in Murud.
Out of 145 in Alibag, cases have been filed in 15 cases, under Environment Protection Act and penalty worth Rs 49,62,326 has been recovered.
In Murud, in 15 cases, penalty of Rs 41,40,856 has been recovered, he said.
In reply to a question on High Court declaring allocation of plot of CIDCO to a developer, Raheja Corporation near Vashi railway station in Navi Mumbai, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said an appeal has been filed against the order in Supreme Court and a stay has been granted.
"A high powered committee will be set up to finalise the government's stand in court matters," he said.
