MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government has waived the stamp duty chargeable on affidavit or declaration made for obtaining caste certificate, income certificate domicile certificate, nationality certificate to be filed before government authority or court.

As per a government resolution (GR), the stamp duty chargeable for instruments of affidavit or declaration made for obtaning caste, domicile, nationality certificates to be filed or used before a government authority or any court has been remitted.
