Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray along with his Cabinet colleagues reviewed 34 Cabinet decisions that the previous Devendra Fadnavis government took on September 9.

Thackeray heard the entire proposals of the 34 decisions in a four-hour meeting but did not order a stay, people aware of the development said.

“We took a review of the last Cabinet decisions (and) what is the current situation,” said minister Eknath Shinde of Shiv Sena. “We discussed the obstacles involved in implementing the decisions.”

“We have also discussed cases filed against Maratha protestors who agitated for reservations,” Shinde said.

“The CM has taken a decision that he would soon meet leaders of the Maratha community to discuss the way forward (on how to withdraw the cases filed against Maratha protestors).”

He said the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government will also review the “unjust” cases filed against all farmers and protestors in the five years of the Fadnavis government.
