MUMBAI: Maharashtra Cabinet today paid tributes to former state Chief Minister A R Antulay and ex-Congress MP Udaysingh Gaikwad.

Both the leaders had passed away yesterday. A presentation was made before the Cabinet on Kelkar Committee report regarding development backlog.

The report will be submitted before the Legislature during the forthcoming winter session at Nagpur, an official in the Chief Minister's Office said.

Since Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis left to attend Antulay's funeral at Ambet village in Raigad district this afternoon, it was decided that the subjects on agenda will be taken up during the next Cabinet meeting, the official said.
