A demonstration against the movie
'Adipurush', a movie based on Ramayana, has got into trouble in Maharashtra with BJP's Maharashtra spokesperson, Ram Kadam, saying the party will not allow it to be screened in the state.

In a video message, Kadam says: " We will not allow screening of the film Adipurush as it has painted a very bad picture of Hindu gods and goddesses . In a bid to earn publicity and money, some producers have a habit of distorting our history. The Hindu community will not tolerate such things anymore."

Kadam told ET that the movie did not have their approval and objected to the costumes worn by characters in the movie.
