Maharashtra: Bill portal of Director, Accounts and Treasuries inaugurated

MUMBAI: Bill Portal, an online service developed by director, accounts and treasury, with the help of National Informatics Centre, was today inaugurated by Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar here.

DAT was using the advances in the field of Information Technology to bring efficiency, and transparency in the working of the department, he said.

Mungantiwar congratulated the officers of the DAT for creation of the online utility and stressed the need of the technology to be used not only for efficiency and transparency for the benefit of the government officials but also for serving the last man of the society.

He said Maharashtra was at the forefront of use of technology and appealed to all the concerned to strive hard to ensure that the state remains at the top in this field in future also.

He appealed to the officials of the department to aim at achieving the perfection by using the aid of technology and dedication of the man power. The dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the welfare of crores of Indians, he added.
