Mah ATS playing politics by arresting Sadhvi: Vijaywargiya

Minister from Madya Pradesh charged Maha ATS of playing politics.

BHOPAL: A Madhya Pradesh minister on Wednesday charged the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) with "playing politics" by arresting Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur for her alleged involvement in the Malegaon blasts.

"The ATS has till now failed to find even a single shred of evidence against the Sadhvi and it will not be able to find any evidence in the future also," Kailash Vijaywargiya, government spokesperson and State Public Works Department (PWD) Minister, said here.

Vijaywargiya said Sadhvi had been arrested as a part of a political conspiracy to defame the Sangh Pariwar.

The BJP leader said he had met Sadhvi on many occasions at various places and saw nothing wrong in meeting her.

The Minister also claimed that after her release, the Sadhvi would emerge as a much bigger leader ever than Sadhvi Ritambhara.
