GUWAHATI: Following the alleged suicide of former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister, Kalikho Pul state government has ordered inquiry into the death.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu said, “The state government has ordered an inquiry to investigate whether there is any foul play in his (Pul’s) death.”

Khandu added that police had been instructed to seize all available materials so that a genuine investigation process could be initiated.

Meanwhile police has recovered four booklets reportedly written by Pul. A senior police official said, “We have recovered the booklet, we are yet to read it. We have not found any dairy yet. The documents are sealed.”

He added that four mobile handsets and one tablet was also recovered.
