Madhukar Gupta, Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports, will be the new Union Home secretary, official sources said on Monday.

NEW DELHI: Madhukar Gupta, Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports, will be the new Union Home secretary, official sources said on Monday.
Gupta, a 1971-batch IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, will take over from V K Duggal who retires on March 31. Gupta will join the ministry as OSD before taking charge from Duggal.
