Madhu Koda allowed to attend Parliament
A local court on Tuesday allowed Singhbhum Lok Sabha member Madhu Koda to attend the monsoon session of Parliament.
Passing the order here yesterday, the special judge of vigilance court, Binoy Kant Khan, directed that Koda be lodged in Tihar jail during his stay in the national capital.
As per the order, Koda would leave for Delhi on July 29 and come back to Birsa Munda Central Jail here by September 10.
Koda, who had led the UPA government in the state as an independent MLA, was arrested on November 30, 2009 by the vigilance sleuths in connection with disproportionate assets case.
Koda is also facing investigations by the CBI, the ED and the Income Tax department in connection with alleged hawala and illegal investments.
