Love Jihad: Gorakhpur MP ‘Mahant’ Adityanath lectures RSS activists

NEW DELHI: The BJP may have distanced itself from the ‘Love Jihad’ campaign after it backfired during the bypolls in Uttar Pradesh, but the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS) continues to groom its activists for campaigning about it.

On Saturday evening, the Delhi unit of the Sangh has organized a meet and lecture of the BJP’s most public face of the campaign and Gorakhpur MP ‘Mahant’ Adityanath for a select group of at least 100 ‘social media activists’ of RSS at a conference hall in the vicinity of Jhandewalan goddess’ temple.

“We do this social media activist’s conference every month. Last time we had called Dinanath Batraji, before that members of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch and now Adityanathji,” said Rajiv Tulli, Delhi Prant Prachar Pramukh of the RSS. Tulli says the idea behind this conference is knowledge and information dissemination for the social media activists about social relevant issues.
