NEW DELHI: Leading NRI industrialist Lord Swraj Paul today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and extended full support to his ' Make in India' campaign.

During the 30-minute meeting, the Chairman of the UK-based Euro 1 billion group, Caparo India has set up several units in India, including some in Gujarat, to manufacture automobile equipments and other products, said after the meeting that he found Modi to be a warm person and someone fully committed to "make India a strong country".

The London-based magnate, who was accompanied by his son and Caparo CEO Angad Paul during the meeting, said "I told the Prime Minister that India alone has the capability to compete with China. The 'Make in India' campaign was a great idea which would strength India economically."
