Lokpal Bill: Anna Hazare to renew hunger agitation from Tuesday
Hazare will launch an indefinite hunger strike in his village Ralegan Siddhi to press the demand of passage of the Lok Pal bill in Lok Sabha.

MUMBAI: Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare will launch an indefinite hunger strike starting Tuesday in his village Ralegan Siddhi to press the demand of passage of the Lokpal bill in Lok Sabha. Accusing the Congress party of betraying him, Hazare said when he was assured by the ruling party that it would get the Lokpal Bill passed in parliament more than two years ago as part of its attempt to get him to call off an earlier fast hunger strike.
"But it has not happened yet. I am left with no choice but to sit on a hunger strike," he told reporters on Monday. "If Manmohan Singh can pledge to get the communal violence bill passed in Parliament, why can't he do the same for the much-delayed Lokpal bill?" he asked.
Hazare also said he was happy with the electoral success of Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi assembly elections.
