Lokpal Bill: A look at the parliamentary committee that will study the bill

Now that the standoff between Team Anna and Parliament is resolved, the theatre of action will shift to the parliamentary committee that is tasked with studying the Lok Pal Bill. Over the next few months, the committee on personnel, public grievances, law and justice, chaired by the Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi will call for comments from experts and stakeholders on not one, but three critical anti-corruption bills — the Lok Pal Bill, the Judicial Standards Bill, and the Whistleblowers Bill.
