Lok Sabha's prorogation, speaking thousand lies to hide one: Sharad Yadav
JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav hit out at the Centre over prorogation of the Lok Sabha following the imposition of President's Rule in Uttarakhand.

"To save its face, the government has prorogued Parliament, which was in recess, to issue an ordinance for Appropriation Bill of Uttrakhand. The government's action amounted to speaking thousand lies to hide one.
"There is a need for it to do everything with patience and restrain, and not cross the limits, decorum, conventions and the norms set in the country for the sake of our democracy," he said in a statement.
Yadav said there was no need for imposing President's Rule because of the anti-party activities of some Congress MLAs as it was "neither a danger to the state administration nor was it an instance of its failure".
"To impose President's Rule on the plea that the Appropriation Bill was not passed is not justified. It was the Speaker's decision in the Assembly which,if the Centre wanted, could have been challenged in a court. Proclamation under Article 356 of the Constitution at this stage was illegal and uncalled for," he said.
