ANANTNAG (JK): Polling was briefly stopped today at a polling station in Pulwama district in south Kashmir's Anantnag Parliamentary constituency after some persons pelted stones on the booth, prompting police to fire warning shots.

A group of persons pelted stones on a polling station in Koil in Pulwama this morning but they were chased away by the security forces who fired warning shots, police said.

Polling at the station has resumed now, they said, adding no one was injured in the clashes.
