Lok Sabha polls 2014: No additional manifesto, says Congress
NEW DELHI: The Congress has denied media reports that it "has come out with an additional election manifesto" and "promised carving out a 4.5% quota for backward Muslims within the existing OBC quota".

"The Congress Party has not come out with any sub-manifesto. The reports about such claims are wrong," Congress leader Kapil Sibal said at a press conference.

Sibal said: "Only some suggestions for considerations from various sections of the society during their pre-manifesto interaction with Rahul Gandhi, which were not incorporated in the poll manifesto, were put up in our website as a separate list of suggestions before us."

When congress manifesto was released, it was announced that since it could not incorporate all suggestions various people had made to Rahul Gandhi, the party will list the left-over suggestions on its website.
