CPI-M, in a complaint to the to the election commission authorities alleged that one of its party worker was injured when Trinamool Congress (TMC)supporters attacked its workers at Shikarpur area of Mathabhanga.
The Left party alleged the TMC supporters attacked its workers when they protested against bogus voting.
Forward Bloc secretary Udayan Guha alleged that three Left parties' workers were injured and hospitalised in the attack.
He alleged that Central forces are almost absent in the district.
At Andaran Fulbari in Tufanganj under Alipurduar constituency, one Left Front polling agent was injured in TMC attack, CPI-M alleged.
AIFB sources also alleged that TMC men at Bamanhat and Kalmati in Dinhata drove away voters and opponents from queues outside polling stations.
Police,however, did not comment on the incidents when contacted.
Reopen CES 4 In Kolkata, West Bengal Left Front chairman Biman Bose alleged that the Trinamool Congress has let loose a reign of terror to terrorise the voters.
"We have been telling that there is no law and order in the state. The incidents proves our claim. Trinamool Congress does not want free and fair polls so they have indulged in terror tactics," Bose said.
He urged Election Commission to take immediate steps to ensure that polling is free and fair.
