Lok Sabha Polls 2014: Giriraj Singh ready to surrender
"I will surrender before the court tomorrow... I have respect for the law, judiciary and the Election Commission," Giriraj Singh said.

"I will surrender before the court tomorrow... I have respect for the law, judiciary and the Election Commission," Singh said.
Jharkhand DGP Rajiv Kumar said, "A team under an inspector-rank officer to arrest Singh will execute the warrant. (We) have also sought cooperation of Bihar Police."
Bihar ADG (headquarters) Ravinder Kumar promised cooperation to the Jharkhand Police saying, "The field officers will provide them all support."
Following Singh's comment that the opponents of BJP's prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi should go to Pakistan, three FIRs have been lodged against him: in Deoghar, Bokaro and Patna. He is facing charges for promoting enmity between classes, maliciously insulting religious beliefs of people and uttering words with the intention to wound religious feelings.
Modi reacted saying he disapproved of "irresponsible" statements being made by those claiming to be the party's well wishers. "I disapprove any such irresponsible statement and appeal to those making them to kindly refrain from doing so. Petty statements by those claiming to be BJP's well-wishers are deviating the campaign from the issues of development and good governance," tweeted Modi.
Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee chief Sukhdeo Bhagat said BJP wants to vitiate communal harmony. "I have been saying since the beginning that BJP wants to break the social fabric. They do not have any agenda but spreading communal hatred. Giriraj Singh's statements are part of that strategy," he said. Ajsu Party and JVM also demanded Singh's arrest.
