Lok Sabha polls 2014: Expelled leader Jaswant lashes out at BJP for action against his son
Expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh today lashed out at BJP for suspending his son Manvendra Singh, calling it an act of "revenge".

Singh, who is contesting Lok Sabha election as an Independent from Barmer constituency, told reporters that he was disappointed with the development and people of the state were aware as to who was behind the "conspiracy".
"BJP will have to face its consequences," he said. BJP yesterday suspended Manvendra, BJP MLA from Sheo constituency in Barmer, from its primary membership and removed him from its National Executive following reports that he was campaigning against the party's official candidate in Barmer.
Jaswant, a former Union minister, was expelled recently for contesting as an Independent after being denied BJP ticket from Barmer. The party has fielded Sonaram Choudhury, who had recently defected from the Congress.
