In case voters fail to receive any response after sending EPIC number, they should immediately contact their respective deputy commissioner's offices, Chief Electoral Officer P Naik said.

SHILLONG: The Election Commission today launched SMS service to help voters to locate their respective polling stations in Meghalaya.

"This mobile service will enable voters to know the details of their polling stations by sending their EPIC number to 98560-66666", Chief Electoral Officer P Naik said after launching 'Your polling station at your finger tip' SMS service here.

"Voters will receive details such as the location of their polling station and their serial number in the electoral rolls," he said.

In case voters fail to receive any response after sending EPIC number, they should immediately contact their respective deputy commissioner's offices, he said.

Meghalaya goes to poll for its two seats on April 9.
