While UDF candidates have put up flex boards, featuring the 'achievements' of UPA government along roadsides,rival LDF have also come out with similar posters blaming UPA for soaring prices of essential commodities and 'corruption'.
Election based talk shows, organised by various regional television channels with animated discussions by candidates and senior party leaders, have intensified the poll scenerio in the state.
To give added boost to the UDF campaign, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi and Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi would address election rallies in different parts of the state in the first week of April.

BJP's star campaigner and party's Prime Minsterial candidate Narendra Modi would be attending a election rally in Kasargod in the first week of April.
Political debutants Aam Admi party has also fielded candidates in 15 seats.
