Lok Sabha polls 2014: 15.3 % voter turnout in Telangana till 9 AM

Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal said Mahabubnagar district recorded the highest percentage with 17.1% followed by Nizamabad district at 16.68%.

HYDERABAD: About 15.3 per cent of electorate cast their vote in the 17 Lok Sabha and 119 Assembly constituencies across ten districts of Telangana till 9 AM today.

Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal said Mahabubnagar district recorded the highest percentage with 17.1 per cent followed by Nizamabad district at 16.68 per cent.

Warangal recorded 16.4 per cent turnout, Adilabad district recorded 15.3 per cent, Khammam 16.02 per cent, Medak 16.09 per cent, Ranga Reddy 15.54 per cent, Karimnagar 15.03 per cent and Nalgonda 14.55 per cent.

Hyderabad recorded the lowest turnout of 10.4 per cent till 9 AM.
