NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha today paid tribute to the victims of 2008 Mumbai terror attacks and pledged to unitedly fight terrorism from the world.

On the occasion of 7th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai carnage, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan recalled that in November 2009, the House had pledged to fight terrorism together.

"Today, we once again pledge to rout terror not only from India but from the world with greater resolve," she said.

Mahajan recalled the courage of security personnel in fighting the 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, who stormed the metropolis.

The House also paid homage to 13 former members, who passed away in the recent past.

Telangana Rashtra Samiti member Pasunuri Dayakar, who was elected to Lok Sabha from Warangal in a recent bypoll, took oath at the beginning of the proceeding of the House.
