Logistics companies’ staff decamps with gold

A complaint has been filed by the logistics company with the LT Marg police station against the sub-contracted logistics person.

A labour on contract has allegedly stolen the goods from Zaveri Bazaar in Mumbai.
MUMBAI: A well known logistics provider’s labour on contract (sub-contracted staff) has allegedly absconded with 20 kilos of gold worth around Rs 6.5 crore belonging to a reputed gold refining company, Zaveri Bazaar sources have said.

“A complaint has been filed by the logistics company with the LT Marg police station against the sub-contracted logistics person who has allegedly stolen the goods from Zaveri Bazaar,” said a Zaveri Bazaar based jewellery aware of the development .
