Over the past week, India has been working towards getting back on its feet, only to be knocked back down by a rising case count; the country has reported close to 10,000 cases and 675 deaths, pointing to a long way ahead before life can go back to normal.

• 714 Maharashtra cops have tested positive, till date.
• 338 new cases in Delhi, total tally now 6,318.
• 76 new cases in Rajasthan, state tally up to 3,655.
• 43 new cases in Andhra Pradesh, total cases now 1,930.
• 36 new cases in Karnataka, state total reaches 789.
• 30 new cases in Jammu & Kashmir, total now 823.
• 21 new cases in Jharkhand, state total now 153.
• 13 CISF personnel test positive.
• Five new cases in Bihar, state's tally now 579.
